Beginner Drawing Series for Adults" Basic Pencil Skills" (6/5- 6/26, Wednesday EVENINGS from 6:30 - 8:30)
In the Basic Pencil Skills classes, we will learn how to do line drawings, shading and basic perspective. It's fun to learn how to draw It helps develop eye to hand to coordination and observation skills. Drawing is a wonderful hobby. The tools are simple and portable. It helps us communicate without using words. This class will meet for 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30PM. (June 5 - June 26)
Ann Terrell Baker is a new instructor at the VAC, but she has over 20 years of experience teaching art to teens and adults! She graduated from Harrisonburg High School with degrees in Art Education from Greensboro College and UNC-Greensboro. She taught High School Art in Greensboro (NC) for 20. After returning home when she retired, she teaches private Art Lessons and has a studio in her home.
Registration is required, and the class is limited to 8 students to allow plenty of room to work and time to speak directly with the instructor.
